📝 Why are these the most scoring chapters in CUET?
In the CUET General Test (Section III), Logical Reasoning is where you can save the maximum amount of time. Questions from Coding-Decoding, Letter Series, and Number Series do not require long mathematical formulas. They only require pattern recognition.
Our PDF focuses on visual memory tricks so that the moment you see a word like "MONKEY" coded as "XDJMNL", your brain instantly recognizes the reverse-minus-one pattern.
- The EJOTY & CFILORUX Rules: The fastest way to memorize the exact numerical position of all 26 English alphabets without counting on your fingers.
- Reverse Alphabet Pairs: Learn the "AZ, BY, CX, DW" pairs using simple story hacks (e.g., A-Z = A to Z, B-Y = Boy, C-X = Crux). NTA frequently asks opposite-letter coding questions.
- Prime Number & Square/Cube Logic: Number series questions usually follow the "difference of difference", "n² + 1", or consecutive prime number logic. We have mapped out the 10 most common NTA number sequences.
- Symbol/Fictitious Language Coding: Easy substitution tricks to solve "If RED is called BLUE, BLUE is called GREEN" type questions in 5 seconds without reading the whole paragraph.
Pro Tip: As soon as your CBT exam starts and you get your rough sheet, quickly write down the A-Z alphabet with numbers (1-26 forwards, and 26-1 backwards) on the top corner. This will save you at least 3-4 minutes during the actual test!
